I am Dr. Alan Altham, the Clinical Director and Principal Psychiatrist at Bluewater Health. The inception of this clinic was driven by a fundamental idea - to ensure that individuals residing in rural and remote areas could access top-tier psychiatric care without the need to travel to Perth.

This journey has been an extraordinary one, and it has been my privilege to provide support to a diverse range of individuals from across Australia.

Our services have garnered significant demand, a development that is beyond what we ever expected. However, it has posed challenges in terms of maintaining the level of care and attention that I hold paramount. 

After much deliberation, I have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend accepting new patients. I trust that you appreciate this decision as it allows me to stay true to my original mission and concentrate on delivering the highest standard of care to those individuals already under our care.

 Rest assured, this adjustment will not disrupt the ongoing care of our existing patients, and we hope will only need to be temporary.
